"Davidson is the perfect combination of competitive and collaborative. It fosters an environment of support while maintaining a high level of academic rigor. The location is incredible, providing a small-town feel while still maintaining access to a large city. The number of opportunities to travel, connect with outside programs, and post-graduate resources is incredible! The amount of support that Davidson provides is truly incredible, and the community of students is amazing."
Underrated Detail About Davidson
I did not realize the extent of resources that Davidson offered when I applied. They have so many types of grants that I didn't even realize existed. Davidson has everything from career resources to civic engagement grants to nutritionists – all available for students! If I had known more about the level of support that students have, I would have been less stressed about making the transition to college. Davidson has such an incredible community of support, and I have never felt like I had to solve all my problems or go through college alone. There are so many people to lean on!
Experiential Opportunity
I received a Chaplain's Office Grant to travel to Japan, and I spent a semester with the Davidson in Peru program.
