"Finding a home away from home was a key factor when I was searching for colleges. Discovering that Davidson has small class sizes and a great amount of interconnectedness among the students and teachers, drew me to the supportive environment. I really have enjoyed and appreciated the dedication that all staff members have towards ensuring success for students. The resources are there, the funding is there, everything you need to achieve your goals is on campus, and in the case that it is not, faculty will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. In addition, I was drawn by the opportunities and connections that Davidson makes possible, through various fairs and outside programs. Overall, the opportunities and people at Davidson are wonderful and I am honored to be in a space where people appreciate their education and strive to thrive."
Transition to Davidson
Immediately when I stepped on campus during pre-season, everyone was very welcoming and acclimating. During the school year, I took a Calculus 1 class where we were required to go to AT sessions, and ultimately we bonded over late night study sessions. Just recently, we took a spontaneous Crumbl trip after having a dinner reunion. The people you meet on campus are amazing and each come with their own unique story and perspectives.
Fun Fact
I have 3 birds at home! Cherry, Peachy and Toto.
