"When I first toured Davidson, I was immediately struck by the warm and tight-knit community. Most of the students seemed to know each other, and they were genuinely interested in supporting each other. I knew that when I chose Davidson, I would be so lucky to join that loving community. Now as I approach my senior year, my appreciation for Davidson's community has only exponentiated. I have formed lifelong friendships, and I have received unparalleled mentorship from my professors and Davidson alumni. These relationships have not only fostered insights regarding my educational and career aspirations, but they have also shaped me into a more intentional member of my community. The mentorship that I have received at Davidson has also afforded me opportunities to better prepare for my future career. I plan to apply to medical school, and Davidson has offered me an abundance of resources to strengthen my application. My professors have helped me apply for grant funding to sponsor summer research, they have taught me preclinical surgical techniques, they encouraged me to study abroad, and they have shaped me into the student I am today."
Underrated Detail About Davidson
