Background

I am originally from Columbus, Ohio. After graduating with my BA in Spanish Education from Ohio Wesleyan University, I spent 2.5 years as an English Language Teaching Assistant with the North American Language and Cultural Assistants Program (NALCAP) in Salamanca, Spain. Upon returning to the United States, I earned my MA in Applied Hispanic Linguistics at Michigan State University, where I also taught Spanish. I come to Davidson College after teaching Spanish at The Ohio State University as Lecturer from 2015-2019, as well as completing graduate coursework and research at Arizona State University from 2019-2022. My research focuses on Second Language Acquisition, Language Program Administration, and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL).
