Background

I joined the Davidson College faculty in 2026 after completing my Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods at York University in Toronto, Canada.

I am a quantitative psychologist who develops statistical methods that help psychologists answer research questions and draw conclusions from their data. My work ranges from developing methods to compare similarities across groups to evaluating how well psychological surveys measure the concepts they intend to capture.

Beyond developing and evaluating statistical methods, I enjoy collaborating with researchers to apply quantitative tools to real-world problems. My collaborative research has included evaluating the trajectory of pediatric stroke recovery, identifying human trafficking risk, and quantifying athletic performance. I enjoy working with students on both methodological and applied research projects, helping them use quantitative methods to inform their work.
