Background
I am a public health scholar and practitioner with over 15 years of experience in global health, research, and teaching. I join Davidson College as an adjunct professor of public health, bringing a passion for student engagement and a commitment to addressing health inequities.
My work spans maternal and child health, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, and communicable disease control, with a particular focus on marginalized populations.
My career began in Nigeria, where I collaborated with international organizations to implement community-based health initiatives. I am a widely published author and frequent conference presenter; I am also a peer reviewer for leading public health journals and am deeply committed to mentorship and advocacy for equitable health systems worldwide.
