"I knew Davidson was for me when I was instantly welcomed by the supportive, trusting community when I visited the campus for the first time. I loved the small class sizes at Davidson because they would allow me to build close relationships with both my classmates and professors. The volunteer and learning opportunities caught my attention because of the opportunity to gain hands-on experiences. I wanted a school that would allow me to have the academic resources I needed to prosper in college, and Davidson gave me just that."
Favorite Class
My favorite class at Davidson was SPA 315: Teaching Spanish in Elementary School with Prof. Kietrys. Through this course, I was able to acquire expertise in building an engaging, personalized curriculum for elementary students. Each week, I had the opportunity to volunteer at our local public elementary school and teach a third-grade class the Spanish lessons I created during class. I was able to get out of my comfort zone and had an amazing time with the students!

I have climbed a volcano at Lassen Volcanic National Park!
