Shakaya Walcott Assistant Director of Student Activities

I was born and raised in Connecticut and resumed in Connecticut to receive my bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I then continued my education at Syracuse University where I earned my master’s degree in Higher Postsecondary Education.

I am a first-generation college graduate and have a passion for creating spaces for minoritized students to feel empowered and welcome on their college campus.

Here at Davidson, I work directly with the Patterson Court members to help them maintain, grow, and excel their organizations.
