Background

Helping students discover their strengths and reach their full potential has always been at the heart of my work. I began my career as an elementary school teacher supporting students with autism, where I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of individualized support and meaningful connections. Wanting to make an even greater impact, I expanded my work beyond the classroom by providing behavior therapy to students and their families in their homes and communities.

Those experiences eventually led me to higher education, where I found my passion for supporting students as they navigate the exciting transition to college and prepare for life beyond the classroom. I believe this is a unique and meaningful time in a student's journey, when the right support can build confidence, foster independence, and create lasting opportunities for success.

As a member of the Academic Access and Disability Resource team, I enjoy partnering with students to remove barriers to academic access and helping them develop learning strategies that empower them to achieve their goals. Our support extends beyond the classroom and into the community, where we are committed to promoting disability awareness, fostering inclusion, and creating opportunities for students to thrive in every aspect of campus and community life. I look forward to getting to know each student and supporting them throughout their academic journey.
