Background
I hold the position of director of educational outreach and teacher placement in the Educational Studies Department. My work involves connecting Davidson students and curricular activities with teachers, schools and school systems.
Prior to joining the Davidson faculty, I founded Freedom Readers, an after school and summer literacy program. Published in 2020, Forever Free: A True Story of Hope in the Fight for Child Literacy, chronicles the organization's development.
