The German Studies Department encourages student engagement with the German language, literature, film, history, and culture by sponsoring events and student organizations. The department also maintains a chapter of Delta Phi Alpha.
For eight years, the Bremer German Scholarship, established through the generosity of C. Christopher Bremer, M.D. '60, was awarded to deserving incoming students with demonstrated interest and ability in German.
