Humanities Program Presents Garry Bertholf: The Biopolitics of Race and the Post-Genomic Turn to Caste

Our very own Professor Garry Bertolf will continue the 2018-19 Humanities Program's public lecture series with his lecture: "The Biopolitics of Race and the Post-Genomic Turn to Caste."

With this lecture he will close the Humanties course's first unit, which focused on MLK's "Letter from Birmingham Jail," but also included readings and speeches by Malcolm X, Audre Lord, and James Baldwin.

“Connections and Conflicts in the Humanities: Revolution” is a team-taught course for first-year students at Davidson. The course includes plenary lectures by current faculty and others. These lectures are free and open to the public.
