Schwarzman Scholars offers a one-year, fully-funded master's program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve to deepen understanding between China and the rest the world. Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their enrollment year.  

To be considered, candidates must apply directly to the Schwarzman Scholars Program. Applicants participate in a rigorous and thorough selection process, designed to identify the most promising young leaders from around the world. The process includes an online application and credentials evaluation as well as in-person regional interviews.   1. Virtual Young Professionals Events (VYPEs)These highly-interactive VYPEs held throughout July and August feature Alumni representatives who will facilitate small-group discussions and Q&A with young professional attendees via Zoom’s breakout room function. We have included an email attachment to this message for your dissemination and hope you will share this out to your institution's broader alumni community.
  2. Application Walkthroughs Join members of the Admissions team in a live walk-through of the U.S./Global online application. In addition to reviewing submission requirements, we will talk through any questions applicants may have about the application.  
  3. Virtual Application Advising Sessions​: For applicants who have already started their Schwarzman Scholars applications, the program is also offering Virtual Schwarzman Scholars Application Advising Sessions. Registration for an advising session may be accessed via an applicant's Application Homepage.
