ESPN The Magazine: Mathematicians Add to Analysis of Tiger’s Slump

Davidson Mathematics has made ESPN The Magazine. For a probability question related to Tiger Woods and the Masters Golf Tournament, John Brenkus, host of ESPN's Sport Science, called on Prof. Tim Chartier and his fellow mathematicians, Prof. Mike Mossinghoff and James Bramlett '14.

Mossinghoff's research foci include number theory, and problems in combinatorics, analysis and discrete geometry. Bramlett was on the Wildcats golf team during his time at Davidson, and is doing an independent study in sports analytics.
