Charlotte Magazine: David Lindsay ’93 Is a Friend of Life Through Project Life

About 23 million people are on the national bone marrow donor registry. But for the patient who can't find a match, that's not enough. Now, some of Charlotte's most influential people are rallying around one of their own to build the list of a lifetime-based on Project Life, a charity founded as a grassroots program at Davidson College by David Lindsay '93. Then, he was an an 18-year-old freshman newly diagnosed with acute leukemia. Now, he is alive and well as the organization's executive director.

"We can save so many more lives if we plant chapters all over the country," Lindsay told Charlotte Magazine in the July 2014 issue.
