Time.com: Student Explores Lessons from Hobby Lobby Supreme Court Case

Davidson in Washington student Madeleine Roberts '16 wrote an essay for her summer internship that was picked up by Time.com. Roberts, a double major in political science and gender and sexuality studies, is working with The Eleison Group, a consulting firm that helps political entities understand the faith landscape of America. It was co-founded by Davidson alumnus Eric Sapp '98. Because of her interest in contraception, the Eleison Group asked her to keep tabs on the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby case and write about it on the group's blog, "Faithful Democrats," where it came to the attention of Time.com.
