Inside Higher Ed: Alumnus Writes on Impact of Scottish Vote

"A vote for independence will lead to dramatic changes for Scottish universities," Christopher Marsicano '10 writes this week in Inside Higher Ed. "In the worst-case scenarios, independence could bring a dramatic loss in research funding, an exodus of faculty from Scotland's top institutions, and either an imposition of tuition or fewer opportunities for students."

Marsicano is a doctoral candidate in leadership and policy studies at the Peabody College of Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt University.
