Salisbury Post: LIFT After-School Academy Challenges At-Risk Teens
Davidson baseball alumnus Darryl Bego has been working with at-risk youth for almost two decades, beginning with the example he tried to set when he'd return home to the projects in southwest Ohio. He has run after-school programs such as the one highlighted in this article by the Salisbury Post for the past 14 years, and currently operates six programs in Mecklenburg and three surrounding counties.
