The Washington Post: On Campus, Trump Loses Young Republicans
"When the Davidson College Republicans disassociated their group from Trump's campaign, they made sure to include in their condemnation that ‘this candidate is not a conservative, and disrespects the causes closest to us,'" writes The Washington Post's David Weigel.
"‘We were holdouts,' [head of College Republicans Beth] Wright said in an interview in the student center, a few hours before the final presidential debate. ‘I was one of those people saying, "Come on, come on, come on, there's got to be a way out of this," until it was too late.'"
