Food for Thought: McKillop Joins Coaches vs. Cancer Team

You're probably aware of Bob McKillop's talents on the court, but did you know he's also an artist... of sorts?

McKillop, head men's basketball coach, and local cancer survivors joined Subway employees behind the glass food shield as guest sandwich artists this week to help launch a special Coaches vs. Cancer fundraising campaign.

McKillop held his own during the lunch rush, and customers responded in kind with donations to the Coaches vs. Cancer program.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Locally, the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association has joined the effort to promote healthy living, raise awareness and support the fight against cancer.
