Davidson Posts Second-Highest Graduation Rate

In a recently published report, Davidson College recorded a four-year graduation rate of 90.6 percent, second best among private nonprofit institutions.

According to The Chronicle of Higher Education, Davidson was one of only three private nonprofit institutions with a graduation rate above 90 percent for the class of 2014, the latest year for which data is available.

Davidson was second behind Pomona College while Georgetown University placed third.

Why is this a big deal?

As the Chronicle put it, "Graduating within four years is the gold standard for anyone footing the bill for college tuition."
