Anthony Foxx ’93 to Take Helm of Center for Public Leadership at Harvard

Anthony Foxx, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation and Mayor of Charlotte, will be the next co-director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Foxx, a 1993 Davidson College graduate and vice chair of the Board of Trustees, will replace Deval Patrick, the former governor of Massachusetts. 

The Center for Public Leadership was founded in 1999 to inspire and enhance the capacity for principled, effective public leadership in government, politics, civil society and business.
