No one does “kind” better than the Davidson community. We care for, and about, each other and our students – a distinctive quality that our alumni recall and prospective students sense when they visit.
“Kindness Starts Here” is the theme of this year’s campus celebration of Random Acts of Kindness Day on Tuesday, Feb. 17. We believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can transcend to our greater community and world, especially the ones that start right here on Davidson’s campus. There are a variety of opportunities to join together and recognize the kindness and humanity that exists around us.
We also invite you to create your own Random Act of Kindness, whether individually or as a team. Actions both big and small can make an impact here at Davidson.
Happening On Campus
The following events are open for all members of the Davidson community to drop by as they are able:
- Coffee Stations: 8 a.m. - Noon (treats arrive at 10 a.m.) in the E. Craig Wall Jr. Academic Center and at the Chambers Flagpole
- Campus Celebration: 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Brown Atrium, Alvarez College Union, with crafts, snacks and a performance by student band Fool’s Errand
