Background

I arrived at Davidson College in 2022, prior to this I worked in various academic and mental health settings. Across settings, my goal has remained consistent. I want to help others identify the values essential to their person, navigate private and public challenges, overcome internal and external barriers, and ultimately live the life that they want to live. I hope to be a support for students who have found themselves stuck or burnt out on a path they don't want to continue on.

I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Florida in Psychology and completed my graduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi in Counseling Psychology. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor-Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina. The majority of my therapeutic trainings have come from models of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
