Background
I have a long history with Davidson, growing up in the town and receiving my undergraduate degree from Davidson College in 2015. I returned as a staff member in 2022, and now serve as the Assistant Director for Sustainability Programs. I am responsible for managing the Sustainability Office’s student-facing programs, particularly the Sustainability Scholars summer internship program and our Sustainability Office Student Employee program. As someone who is passionate about sustainability and has directly experienced the benefits of these programs, I love connecting with students and helping them get involved.
I also support Sustainability Office communication efforts and several collaborative efforts on campus, including the Move-Out Donation Program and Dútα Bαhiisere Kus Ráˀhere (We Know Corn Together), a partnership with the Catawba Nation.
Before returning to Davidson I worked in communications for an Environmental Protection Agency research lab, greenhouse gas emissions research for the University of Michigan Dining Services, and several roles in environmental science education.
