As the department technician, I oversee the technical operations of the studios, assist students with problem solving and technical advice, and assist the Van Every/Smith Galleries during installation. I maintain studio equipment and tools, and anticipate the needs of professors and students in order to best equip the studios for the demands of the future, including the wood shop, metal shop, foundry, and digital print lab.
My background as an interdisciplinary artist is focused on sculpture and ceramics.
