Background

In 2018, I moved to North Carolina from Georgia and began working as a counselor at North Carolina State University. I am excited to now join the Davidson community and hope to continue supporting students and their mental health needs. My areas of interest include mood disorders, adjustment concerns, eating concerns, addictive behaviors, racial/ethnic minorities and LGBTQIA+ concerns.

In my therapeutic work, I integrate Acceptance Commitment therapy and Feminist theories. My hope is to create a space where students can work through their mental health needs while also acknowledging the role that our social identities play in how we experience the world.
