Background

My name is Leslie Escobar (She/Her/Ella), and I am the Assistant Director at the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion.

I hold a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Development. As a first-generation student and Salvadoran American, I am passionate about fostering spaces where all students feel seen and supported.

Before coming to Davidson, I spent three years at Georgetown University in the Office of Residential Living. I also bring experience working in disability resources, multicultural life, and student support and advocacy.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring N.C. with my fiancé, watching horror movies with my rescue cat, Monday, and spending time reading. My main office is located in the Spencer-Weinstein Center but I spend most of my time in my satellite office in the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion, Alvarez College Union 207. Please feel free stop by for a chat or schedule a meeting with me!
