Shannon Conner

I am an Earth scientist with research interests in geoscience education, natural hazards, and microplastic contamination. I've had the opportunity to participate in field research across several states, including Idaho, Washington, Oregon, South Carolina, as well as in Scotland, where I helped collect virtual reality footage. I am also passionate about public outreach and programming as a way to connect with the people and communities who are impacted by scientific research. As I begin my career, I am excited for new opportunities and the change to share my experience and love of teaching with the students at Davidson College.
