Welcome to the speaker application for TEDxDavidson College.
The event will be held on February 19, 2027. Apply to be a speaker by September 4, 11:59 p.m. EST.

Creating The Good Space
TEDxDavidson College is a cross-campus collaboration including the Sociology Department, Communication Studies Department, Educational Studies Department, the Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Davidson College, the D.G. & Harriet Wall Martin Institute for Public Good and the William F. and Betty G. Mulliss Center for Civic Engagement.
The event will feature four thematic sessions (two in the morning, two in the afternoon) that run approximately 1.5 hours. The sessions will be organized under one of four spotlighted categories. Each session will include approximately six talks, each with a run time of 8-10 minutes.
The spotlight categories for The Good Space are:

TEDxDavidson College Pre-Application Checklist
Please review this checklist before applying. For full consideration of your application, you must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must have an affiliation with Davidson College, including anyone who is currently, or has previously been associated with the college, the Hurt Hub or the Martin Institute for the Public Good. This includes all Davidson College staff, faculty, students, and alumni; Hurt Hub coworkers; any individuals who have been participants in Hurt Hub flagship programs (e.g. Building a Lean Startup, Soloprenuer Circle), past Hurt Hub pitch competition finalists/winners, who have served as mentors or judges in any pitch competitions, or who have been previous speakers/workshop leaders. If you have been in community with any of these institutions in a formal role, we welcome you to apply. If there is any uncertainty about your connection, please email tedxdavidson@davidson.edu and we will help confirm your eligibility.
