Davidson College is a private liberal arts college located in Davidson, NC.

Our college is governed by the board of trustees, of which President Douglas A. Hicks is a member.

The Trustees are charged with governing under the Constitution and By-laws. Jointly, the board of trustees, our college president, and senior leaders across campus lead Davidson into the future—ensuring that it remains true to its commitments and purposes.

President's Office

The college's 19th president, Douglas A. Hicks, took office August 1, 2022. A Davidson alum, Hicks earned a Ph.D. at Harvard University and has built a career of leadership roles in higher education.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees oversees the college's leadership, planning, and resources, working to ensure Davidson's continuing vitality and its ability to fulfill its mission now and for future generations.

Senior Leadership

This staff, made up of the senior members of the college's leadership team, advises and guides the president and college on institutional goals.
