External Funding Opportunities
Find External Funding Opportunities
Identifying appropriate funding opportunities for your project is essential for funding success.
The Office of Sponsored Programs can assist you in searching for and identifying the opportunities that best fit your project plan and scope. One of the tools we use to facilitate this process, and that we encourage our faculty to use, is Atom Grants.
Atom Grants
Atom Grants provides an innovative, AI-powered platform that allows faculty and researchers to create customized grant opportunity searches that match current or future researcher interests. Researchers can find relevant funding opportunities by using natural language descriptions of their research—including the ability to input abstracts from existing papers directly into the search system. The platform automatically generates researcher profiles by analyzing existing publicly available information and can deliver personalized email alerts on a preferred scheduling basis with matching funding opportunities. Additionally, AI features assist throughout the process by extracting key requirements, generating submission checklists, and assessing eligibility criteria, ensuring researchers can focus more on their work and less on administrative tasks.
