
What to Expect

The Prama Institute is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, about two hours away from Davidson.
Prama is well known for serving delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals. They incorporate local and organic food from their onsite garden and surrounding farms. They can also meet many diets such as gluten free, vegan and more.
Session Dates: January 14–18, 2026, early move-in on January 13
Sample Schedule
Day 1
Meet with your group and leaders mid-day and drive up to the Prama Institute together. Settle into your space and engage in community building and internal reflection. After dinner will provide a somatic yoga practice and campfire circle.
Days 2-3
These days will be filled with a combination of movement/somatic practices through yoga and meditation, as well as connection with others and a deep dive into self-awareness of your personal wellness needs and support.
Day 4
We will continue our intentional growth together and have one more somatic yoga practice before heading back to campus to start integrating your growth into your campus home.
Day 5
This morning will be spent reflecting on your retreat experience and developing your personalize wellness plan to put in place for spring semester.
