ASP Scholars
Davidson College, in partnership with the Academic Success Program (ASP), established The Davidson College ASP Scholars Program in the spring of 2024.
This program was created in recognition of the phenomenal students that had applied and enrolled at Davidson from ASP over the prior years and a sincere interest in broadening that pipeline. Today, Davidson looks to enroll up to 10 students per class coming from this partnership.
The Scholarship
The DCASP Scholarship includes:
Tuition & Fees
Housing
Meals
Books
One-time computer allowance
An April trip to Davidson's campus for an Admitted Student Day for each Scholar and a guest (parent, guardian or mentor)
A summer send-off reception in Dallas, prior to Davidson's First Year Orientation
Critical Dates
June: Interest form and financial aid summary form become available
July 20: Form deadline for interested ASP students
September 11: Common App and CSS Profile are due
By October 2: Finalists are notified
October 7: Finalists accept invitation to interview
October 25: Scholarship Selection Day in Dallas
November 4: Winners confirm enrollment to Davidson via deposit
