Hurdler Jayden Smith '25 set a new Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship record in May with a winning time of 13.39 seconds, breaking the previous school record he set at the conference championship two years ago.

Smith has won the conference title in the 110 hurdles for four straight years. This performance put him fourth overall in the NCAA this season and second in the East Region.
Jayden has exceptional values, passion for self-improvement and is comfortable in his own skin. Some combination of those attributes and exceptional resilience has led to his success in track as well as being an outstanding student and leader.

The All-American competed in front of the hometown crowd for the first time at the new Lisa and Jeff Case Track & Field Complex March 29. The new facility, with a state-of-the art resurfaced track and throw cage and updated locker rooms, makes it possible for the college to host meets for the first time in two decades.
