’Cats Say Thanks is Davidson College’s annual week of gratitude, which aims to thank donors, volunteers and Wildcats, while sharing the broad impact of philanthropy and engagement.

Alums, families and friends make a positive impact on every corner of campus by supporting scholarships, athletics, the arts, facilities and meaningful programs that create life-long memories and prepare students for lives of leadership and service. As part of ’Cats Say Thanks, we thank all donors, volunteers, mentors and partners for building the special community we love. Regardless of the way you share your support, your involvement is central to Davidson College’s success and future. Thank you.

Hear from Kamryn Walker ’24 about the many ways she has immersed herself in Davidson and how she is preparing for life after college. Donors impact every aspect of the student experience and make it possible for students like Kamryn to thrive.

Kamryn is a Posse Scholar and is a recipient of the Pooled Cheerleading Scholarship. She also received the Heitz-Wagener Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship. Giving to scholarships is one of the many ways donors support Davidson students.

Emma Kitchin ’25 is a Bonner Scholar and a theater major who is inspired every day at Davidson. Thanks to donors to the arts, students like Emma are encouraged to innovate, learn and create.

Our Wildcats compete in 21 NCAA Division 1 programs. Will Davis ’25, a golf scholar-athlete, has found tremendous success at Davidson. With the help of donor support, students like Will have the resources they need to succeed in the classroom and at the highest levels of competition. Will is a MacMillan Golf Scholar and a recipient of the Champ Covington Family Golf Scholarship.
