Bremer Scholarship and Award
Bremer German Scholarship
The Bremer German Scholarship, established through the generosity of C. Christopher Bremer, M.D. '60, recognizes excellence in German Studies. It carries an award of $5,000 and is renewable in subsequent years.
Applying to the Scholarship
The German Studies Department is currently accepting applications from rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors majoring in German for the Bremer Scholarship for 2025-26.
Interested students should submit the following by April 1, 2026:
- A one-page statement describing the role of German Studies in the applicant's education at Davidson
- A PDF of the applicant's transcript
- One letter of support from a member of the German Studies Department
