The Rupert T. Barber, Jr. Scholarship is offered to students who demonstrate exceptional talent and passion for theatre.
This $10,000 award is offered to a first-year student and is renewable for the recipient's remaining three years at Davidson providing they maintain a minimum GPA, make expected degree progress, and remain actively engaged in theatre via classes and production work. Recipients are not required to declare a theatre major.
Application Process
You must first be an applicant to Davidson College in order to submit your Rupert T. Barber Scholarship Application.
Please submit scholarship application materials no later than your selected application plan deadline (Early Decision I: Nov. 15, Early Decision II: Jan. 6, Regular Decision: Jan. 13).
