Thanks to Davidson's distinctively supportive and flexible curriculum, chemistry students have ample opportunity to engage in international learning.

In recent years, chemistry students have studied in a variety of locations as part of a semester-long program. They have also been fortunate to travel internationally to conduct research, take on internships, and complete service.

Major: Chemistry

Most Memorable Experience Abroad: My most memorable experience while abroad was visiting Alhambra in Granada, Spain. Being able to see the palace and fortress of Alhambra was incredible, not only because of the gorgeous views, but also because I was able to see the Islamic influence in the architecture.

From Dusseldorf to Freiburg, Prof. Nicole Snyder regularly oversees international research with current Davidson students in Germany. While there, students have the opportunity to do collaborative research with German scientists and participate in a rich cultural exchange.
