Cunningham Theatre Center
The Cunningham Theatre Center houses the Theatre Department classrooms, work spaces and offices. Renovated in 2008, the center's state-of-the-art facilities serve students interested in acting, set design and stage production.
The center also houses a 550-square foot studio classroom that functions as a rehearsal, audition, and performance space, along with a script library, conference room, costume shop and dressing rooms. All sets are constructed in our student-staffed Scene Shop, creating paid and volunteer opportunities to gain practical experience in carpentry, electrics, and rigging.
The Barber Theatre
The Rupert T. Barber Theatre is an intimate, flexible, performance space located within Cunningham. Able to seat 175, productions in the Barber can be configured in a variety of stage set-ups which, in combination with modern lighting and state-of-the-art sound systems, make audience members feel like part of the production.
Address and Directions
The Cunningham Theatre Center is located at 310 N. Main St. at the intersection of Griffith Ave. and Main St. Limited parking is available in the lot adjacent to Cunningham. Auxiliary parking can be found in the lot behind the Admission Office on Jackson St. Upon entering The Barber Theatre, turn left and the box office is at the end of the hallway.
