The coordinators, faculty, and staff members of the Health and Human Values department are committed to providing students with an excellent undergraduate education.

What brings them together is their desire to humanize medicine. The Health and Human Values faculty and staff members are the authors of many scholarly books and articles, the initiators of major biomedical research projects and public policy proposals, and speakers at numerous conferences. The group regularly meets with students to discuss current issues in bioethics.

Faculty work is supported by the college and the Frederick Womble Speas Family.
