Latin American Studies
Latin America is one of the world's major regions, given its rich history (and prehistory), long literary tradition, multiple cultures, and complex political and economic systems.
It is a key place for understanding contemporary issues of migration, borders, development and sustainability, and power hierarchies, especially given the multiple ties binding the region to the U.S.
The Davidson in Peru program is directed at students interested in Latin American or Peruvian culture, history, politics, literature, social justice, the environment, and human rights.
