Be The Match
Be The Match volunteers raise money for an annual Bone Marrow Typing Drive by sponsoring a spaghetti dinner, Ben & Jerry's Day, and Tulip Sales. They also strive to raise awareness about the importance of bone marrow donations and transplanting.
The primary goal of Changing Minds is to offer information and support regarding mental disorders on campus.
Community Free Clinic
Volunteers assist with pharmacy and translating needs. The clinic provides free healthcare services for uninsured adults in and around the Concord area.
We are a group for Davidson students, staff, and faculty seeking to practice mindfulness as a way to be more present in our daily lives.
One in Four
One in Four, Inc is dedicated to the prevention of rape by the thoughtful application of theory and research to rape prevention programming.
Rape Awareness Committee
The Rape Awareness Committee is a student committee that works with Health Educator Georgia Ringle to educate the student body on issues surrounding sexual assault and rape, Title IX, and the Clery Act laws. They do active programming including consent education and bystander intervention training, and provide survivor and secondary survivor resources.
Hinds' Feet Farm
Volunteers work with brain trauma patients on various rehabilitation exercises including arts and crafts, Nintendo Wii, horseback riding, and board games. Volunteers can also work outside on a number of maintenance chores. They may work intimately with the members in the Day Program by joining the "Physically Fit" Program or help out with the Checkered Ball, an annual black-tie fundraiser.
Operation Smile Train
This international organization provides free surgeries for children with cleft lips and palates across the globe. Operation Smile Train club spreads awareness of international health issues, holds fundraisers, and mentors high school students.
Timmy Global Health
Timmy Global Health aims to build healthy futures worldwide, one child at a time. They accomplish this by strengthening community-based health and education initiatives and by empowering young people to share their energy and compassion.
