Staff Phased Retirement
The Staff Phased Retirement benefit will allow a staff member to request to move to a half-time position and receive pro-rated pay while keeping most full-time benefits. More specifically, a staff member may elect to fully retire one year, two years, or three years after entering the Voluntary Phased Retirement Program.
Staff who have at least 10 years of full-time, continuous service and who have a combined age plus service equal to or greater than 70 are eligible to apply for the program. If a staff member is at least 60 at the end of the phased retirement term, he or she will retain the right to be covered under the college's retiree medical and dependent tuition benefits. Review the program summary listed in the documents section below for complete eligibility guidelines.
