Davidson College’s special events and event services team provide a centralized and collaborative event planning experience for our campus. We serve as a comprehensive resource for the campus community, supporting high-quality events that reflect excellence and Davidson’s institutional values.
How We Serve Campus
Whether you are hosting a small departmental workshop, a student organization gathering, or a multi-day reunion, our team is here to support you. We provide:
- Event Consultation: For events not requiring fully hands-on planning support, we are happy to provide consultation on event design, timelines, and production logistics.
- Venue & Space Coordination: As you work in Ad Astra to reserve space for your event, our team can provide assistance in troubleshooting any issues you run into or in finding the best available space for your event.
- Event Technology Support: Our team of Event Technology Specialists will proactively reach out to you once your event is confirmed to discuss your technology needs. From there, you’ll receive the appropriate level of planning and day-of support to ensure it all runs smoothly.
- Event Logistics and Setup Support: Our team of Event Logistics Specialists will work with you to ensure your planned setup is appropriate for your goals and the space you’ve reserved, and will ensure the space is set just as you hoped prior to your start time.
- Guidance on Policies and Use of Campus Spaces: As new spaces are built on campus the SEES team will ensure that clear guidelines for booking and using them so you can enjoy new event venues with confidence.
