To qualify for the program, you must be a current Davidson senior who will graduate in the spring or a recent graduate who has been out of school for no more than two years.
Fellows positions are generally for a one-year term, are classified as 40 hours per week, and are exempt (salaried) for Fair Labor Standards Act guidelines.
Positions may be available in the following departments:
- Alumni and Family Engagement
- Annual Fund
- College Union
- Civic Engagement

- Technology & Innovation
As a participant, you are eligible for a total of 10 vacation (accrued at .39 days per pay period) and 12 sick days per year. Fellows are also eligible for up to 11 paid holidays each year. Holiday pay is granted after 30 days of continuous employment.
Training and Development
As a first-year Fellow, you are eligible for up to $500 in reimbursements for training and development. This benefit can be used to pay for attending a professional conference, or towards the cost of one course per semester at Davidson or another local college or university in a subject area related to the position held. If you wish to use this benefit you should submit receipts to our Human Resource Office for reimbursement approval.
Second-year Fellows are eligible for the standard employee tuition reimbursement, which provides tuition reimbursement for 100 percent of tuition, up to a maximum of $1,000 per course and up to $2,000 per fiscal year.
We can assist you in finding affordable housing options in the Davidson area.
