Application Process

Twenty incoming first-year students are selected each year to become Bonner Scholars, working to establish an appreciation of both local and global needs through consistent engagement with a wide variety of community partners.

As an incoming student, you are eligible to apply for the Bonner Scholars Program if you demonstrate financial need as evidenced in your Davidson College application. You still are eligible for a Bonner scholarship even if you receive other scholarship money.

Generally students must be entering as first-year students but sophomores also may be eligible if spots are available. All students are welcome to apply, inclusive of every major or interest area. Domestic and international students are eligible for this scholarship program. Athletes should check with their respective coaches before applying.
