Peer Academic Coaching
The Peer Academic Coaching (PAC) program is designed to match students who possess exceptional academic skills with students who experience challenges or wish to enhance their academic skills.
Coaches assist students with academic skills such as time management, organization, note-taking, studying, reading, and test-taking. Coaches meet regularly with students to discuss academic strategies, create action plans, assess their progress, and identify needed support and resources.
Refer a Student
If you are a faculty or staff member and would like to refer a student to the Peer Academic Coaching program, please direct the student to the Peer Academic Coaching Interest Form. We will use information from the interest form to match the student with an appropriate coach. Once paired, the students will meet regularly to develop effective academic strategies.
Walk-in Hours
Coaches are also available to meet with students during walk-in hours at the “Coaches Corner,” located in Quiet Room C of the library. Hours for the Spring 2023 semester are:
- Mondays 4-6 p.m.
- Tuesdays 7-9 p.m.
- Wednesdays 4-6 p.m.
- Thursdays 7-9 p.m.
