Key Programs
One-on-one advising and professionalization workshops, focusing on technical and soft-skill development, are combined with opportunities for immersive, experiential learning to jump-start the student to career journey.
How-to-Guides & Diversity Resources
We offer students a variety of how-to guides and resources to help them prepare for their career journey, such as guides to writing resumes/cvs, cover letters and personal statements, assessing job offers, networking and multicultural resources. Industry-specific tools and resources are available to aid in your search for experiential learning, full-time jobs and fellowships and graduate or professional school. Online Resources
In addition to the how-to guides and resources mentioned above, Handshake is the access point to additional online resources including Vault, Davidson Career Advisor Network (DCAN) and industry-specific resources created with Davidson student interests in mind. Meet with a Career Adviser One-on-One Career Advising
Benefit from an array of in-depth and personalized sessions with our career advisers, available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Walk-in Advising Hours
Stop in any weekday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. for a walk-in meeting with a career adviser for a brief session. Get your resume or application materials reviewed, ask questions or seek advice. No appointment required, we look forward to welcoming you.
Law School and Medical School
