The DCI Team

There are lots of amazing people involved in the Deliberative Citizenship Initiative. 

Graham Bullock serves as its Faculty Director, and Ruby Aaver is the DCI’s Program Coordinator. 

The DCI also has an 8-member Convening Council and a 24-member Advisory Council made up of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. 

The heart of the DCI are its student fellows, who include both Fellows and Senior Student Fellows who have completed the initial one-year Fellows Program. 

Equally important are the more than 60 faculty at Davidson and 27 other institutions who have been Faculty Fellows of the DCI’s Deliberative Pedagogy (DeeP) Collaborative and systematically embedded deliberation into their courses. 

The DCI community also includes all of the people who have been trained as DCI Deliberative Facilitators and are certified to facilitate DCI-sponsored discussions.
